"China" Appellation comes from the first dynasty Qin (pronounces Tchin). Emperor QIN Shi Huang - 秦始皇 ; founder of the first dynasty, was buried in the Famous terracotta Mausoleum near Xi'An. Concluding the Warrior States Era, the King 王 (Wang) becomes Emperor 皇帝 (HuangDi).
