The healthy human mind doesn't wake up in the morning thinking this is its last day on Earth. But I think that's a luxury, not a curse. To know you're close to the end is a kind of freedom. Good time to take...inventory.

War. War never changes. But men do, through the roads they walk.

“Stand amongst the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer.”

If our lives are already written, it would take a courageous man to change the script.

Lack of something to feel important about is almost the greatest tragedy a man may have.

“The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.”

"Boss... you were right. It's not about changing the world. It's about doing our best to leave the world... the way it is. It's about respecting the will of others, and believing in your own."

Death is inevitable. Our fear of it makes us play safe, blocks out emotion. It's a losing game. Without passion, you are already dead.

Be loyal to what matters.

Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling… makes no difference. The degree is arbitrary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another, I’d rather not choose at all.

“War is when the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other.”

When your mentors exist in a simulation who offer better wisdom than actual people 😉
