I have been doing a lot of introspection lately. Meditation, research and basically understanding how I work. I think this is something truly basic that has gone missing in today's world. A world that has formulas, sigma grind and other self-help materials available that seeks to provide a one solution for all problems. The problem is, that, there isn't one solution to all problems. The only solution according to me, is the solution you can find within you. And to find a solution within you, you have to understand who you are. Here's where my 3 step method comes in.

Introduction

Although, every step in the 3 step process is as crucial as any other. This, is where the foundation is laid. Here, it will be determined whether you have made an honest attempt, or just half-assed your way. Awareness is the key to understanding yourself. Being aware is simply, having a complete understand of who you are as a person. I am lazy, I don't like working out, I hate waking up early, I get frustrated easily. Being aware is observing yourself as a 3rd person, and realizing who you are, without reserving any judgments or biases.

Awareness

When you are aware of who you are, and when you are in the process of becoming aware, there would be a rational part of your brain that would say, it's not true. I am not lazy, I just don't feel like working right now, I am not addicted to smoking, I just do it sometimes, etc, etc. That is your mind pushing against and fighting for you. Your ego won't let you believe things that goes against what you want to think you are. But, here's where the brain plays tricks on you to make you feel comfortable. Let go of that ego, and accept who you truly are. If you are lazy, you are lazy, no ifs or buts

Acceptance

Once you are aware of who you are, and accepted who you are, then and only then you have a true potential for growth. Because now, you know the truth. Now, that you know that you are lazy, and accept it, you can work on it to make yourself more productive. Until and unless you don't see reality for what it is, and let your brain wield the power, it will steer you into a life of comfort, which only leads to despair and depression. Become aware, accept that awareness and let yourself grow. That is my system for growth. The only way forward for you, is for you to know who you truly are.

These ideas have come after a lot of introspection. I truly believe that everyone, no matter who they are, or where they are have a chance to grow and be happy. This is something I have understood to be the system of growth for me. Check it out!

The start of a journey to heal from childhood trauma is a brave endeavor. The pain and scars from the past can be challenging, but with time and self-compassion, it is possible to find a path to recovery or at least the start of loving yourself just a bit more

Start by acknowledging your pain and being kind to yourself. Understand that healing takes time, and it's okay to feel the way you do. Practice self-compassion, like you would towards a friend in pain

Consider seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor who specializes in trauma. Therapy provides a safe space to explore your emotions and develop coping strategies. Not everyone has access to therapy, via financially and/or location, but there are other resources you could reach out to online.

Begin to recognize and name your emotions, do research if you can't fully describe it yourself. Often finding articles or blogs of how others are feeling can help you find a better way of understanding of how you feel. Journaling can help as well. Understanding what triggers your trauma responses can empower you to manage them better.

Emotional Awareness 

Explore practices like yoga, meditation, or mindfulness, this will help you to be okay with being in your head calmly. They can also help you reconnect with your body, release tension, and ground yourself in the present.

Mind-body Connections

Surround yourself with supportive, trustworthy people. Building and maintaining positive relationships can be a crucial part of healing. Easier said than done, but remember you are not alone

“Life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose."

Develop a self-care regimen that suits you. This might include exercise, a balanced diet, and regular sleep patterns. Make time for activities you enjoy and that nurture your soul, you deserve to have down times.

Discipline is one of the keys to success, but it’s harder to adapt. Discipline is the ability to control one’s behavior and actions in order to achieve any goal. People who live their lives with discipline have more chances to be successful than others. People with lazy and inconsistent in nature are always suffer when it comes to hard work. Discipline helps in fields school, work, office, and even in personal relationships. There are so many examples of daily life where one behaves in discipline like the student who watches Netflix a lot and also scores in academics.

The Psychology of Discipline

There are two types of discipline - Self-discipline and external discipline. Self-discipline is the ability to control one’s own behavior and emotions. his skill can be developed through practice. The way to develop self-discipline is by setting clear and realistic goals and breaking the goal into steps or levels. In addition, other than this, External discipline exists. It is basically using external things to make anyone change their habits or behavior. External things can include rewards, praise, and punishment. One may fear punishment and try to behave or act in a disciplined way.

The Role Of Goal Setting In Self-Discipline

why an individual wants to become a disciplined person, how an individual can become a disciplined person So, the psychology of disciplined persons works very differently, they have some positive qualities like:1. Self-control2. Goal Orientation3. Delayed gratification4. Willpower5. Self-awareness

Why And How ? 

Disciplined individuals have a good capacity for self-control. They resist themselves to skip work to get delayed, they work to control their temptations and urges they work on their long-term goals and achieve them level by level which makes it easier for them to gain self-confidence.

Self-control:

Disciplined individuals are seen as very goal-oriented. They have clear, unidirectional, and well-focused goals and they also have enough attention power to work on those goals perfectly. This goal orientation helps them to stay focused and motivated.

Goal Orientation:

They show interest in long-term goals, but in a stepwise manner, which means they forgo short-term rewards in order to attain long-term benefits. They are often useful to work on the drawbacks at the initial level and hence improve the outcome.

Delayed gratification:

Disciplined individuals often have willower as their strength. They and enough will to start afresh and gather all the mental strength to start any challenging task easily.

Willpower:

Disciplined people are often self-aware about their strengths and weaknesses and this allows them to work on themselves effectively. This self-awareness helps them to deal with their drawback and also helps them to make adjustments according to that.

Self-awareness:

"There are only three requirements for success. First, decide exactly what it is you want in life. Second, determine the price that you are going to have to pay to get the things you want. And third, and this is the most important, resolve to pay that price "

Now, the question arises, how can an individual become a disciplined person? Following are some tips for including discipline as one of the skills in your personality or life.

If you have a zeal to achieve success then you should have clear and realistic goals. Get to know yourself what you want to do with your goal. Why do you want to achieve it? It is psychologically proven that if an individual has a clue what they want to do with their life or what their goal is, they are more likely to stay focused and motivated.

1) Set clear goals:

Breaking down goals into smaller steps would make it easier for you to understand and manage the work. And with achieving each small steps you will get self-motivation to achieve another step. And these little motivations will help you to stay on track.

2) Break down your goal into smaller steps:

Create a plan, in which you have prepared what task you have to do in what period of time. Give yourself a deadline and work according to the plan. Your consistency is the key.

3) Create a plan:

Rewarding yourself gives motivation, reward yourself whenever you achieve any bit, maintain consistency, etc.

4) Reward yourself:

"so every opportunity I get I murder it. Process driven, I love it. I get up every morning at 3'o clock. When I wanna get up, when I don't. When I feel like it and I don't feel like it. Why ? Cause I'm Process driven. I'm not feeling driven. Don't stop when you're tired, stop when you're done..."

Discipline is not a fixed trait and no one is naturally born with this. This is initially guided by parents and teachers, but by learning the psychology behind this one can also develop and strengthen the skill of discipline easily.

I have always envied people at the center of attention because of their talking skills.I wanted to be like them. I wished to make friends as they did. But then, I realized they were just better at telling stories. And that changed everything because I loved telling stories.So, I started to research and learn storytelling. I knew it was the best networking method in the world. And I wanted it.

Storytelling is the ability of individuals to evoke emotions and create connections through their words. Or, this is the definition I gave it.As you can see, it is a powerful concept. And people are often afraid of power because it seems dangerous and challenging.But storytelling is safe and learnable. And you can use it to transform your vision into inevitable consequences.Great stories can conquer people’s hearts. And, if you learn how to tell them, you can alter their beliefs and emotions.

What is Storytelling?

Alright, storytelling is powerful and everything. You got that. But without practical advice, you will remain the uninteresting guy on the sofa. I know because I was one, and it wasn’t pretty.So, how can you learn it?Before anything else, let’s clarify one point – you won’t become the group’s bard overnight.

You won’t wake up tomorrow and make new friends. Nor will you speak to anybody as if you were a natural after reading this newsletter. But with time and practice, you will improve.From my experience, I made a list of three rules that could help you:<ul><li>Make a list of interesting stories that happened to you.</li><li>Practice storytelling skills every day with everyone.</li><li>Keep track of what worked and what didn’t.</li></ul>Let’s dive deep into each one now.

3 Simple Rules to Learn Storytelling (2)

Everyone has to begin from some point to make his life sound interesting. And you will start with a list of stories that might become interesting.Good storytellers don’t have a mental list of good stories to tell. They remember and emphasize them on the go. But you have to start from somewhere to train yourself and improve.So, list a few stories that happened to you in your recent life. Those stories will become your business card.

1 – List your stories (1)

<ul><li>Make a mix of funny, sad, and strange stories. Try to find one for each situation.</li><li>Think about which type of audience will be more receptive to each story.</li><li>Write the emotions you would like to convey with your story.</li><li>Then, write the story and read it out loud many times. Make it yours.</li><li>Repeat the story in front of the mirror. Focus on your emotions and body language (more about this in the last issue).</li></ul>

Once you become confident enough in your stories, it’s time to test them.Understanding when to tell a story will be harsh in the beginning. You won’t know how to get attention without being rude. You will overcomplicate things. And you may never get the courage to speak.So, for your safety, start with your closest friends.

Wait for a moment of silence in the interaction, and start with a random:Did I ever tell you about that time I… It’s an easy success. Trust me.

<ul><li>Study your public and target specific people who could engage with your stories.</li><li>Then, train to tell your stories every time you get the chance.</li><li>As you get the attention, remain in control. A bad story is the worst thing that could happen.</li><li>Learn to make climatic pauses in your stories and interact with people.</li><li>Also, people will want to ask questions. So give them all they want. Their attention is yours now.</li></ul>

Sometimes, your stories will work. Other times, they won’t. But that doesn’t mean they are bad stories.Every story has its appeal to the correct group of people. And what works in a situation might fail in others. So, you must learn to read your audience and use your story only if it fits the context. That’s the trickiest part.

<ul><li>Always search for an adventure in your everyday life. Even a lone walk could become worth sharing if you become good enough.</li><li>Update your stories and create soft variations based on the feedback you get from the audience.</li><li>And never abandon any tale. Soon, what you say will become who you are. You have the powerful privilege of building and rebuilding your character. But your first stories will always define who you are and will always be.</li></ul>

Make a list of the stories you would like to tell people. Practice them in front of the mirror and with your closest friends. Then, share your stories with the world and improve them.
